My wife, Anita, and I made a day trip to Brockton, Massachusetts today to one of our favorite museums, The Fuller Craft Museum. It was worth the trip as it always seems to be every time we go.
Wood lovers, you should all go to check out the new exhibit about the woods and boxes of Peter Bartram. Check it out on line first but the works are amazing. There is also an exhibit of boxes by one of Anita's friends, Ellen Schiffman, and an exhibit of wooden quilts made from remnants of Hurricane Sandy by, Laura Petrovich-Cheney. And if that's not enough there are works from the PlymouthCRAFT artists, and the works of their permanent collection. Very inspiring trip.
After a nice lunch at a local pub we headed back home. Good day!
